The Music Fest 2006. The first Westport Music Festival ran from Aug 9th - Aug 13th. The festival featured The Drifters, Mike Denver, Aslan and The Conquerers. Its was a great success. In addition we had interest from 2FM dj's Rick O'Shea, Phil Cawley and Ruth Scott (Road Caster). The festival was concluded with a professional fireworks show. The festival was well recieved by everyone who attended, with talk about next year before this festival had even finished. |

Westport Music Festival 2007 started on July 18th - July 22nd. Going from the success of 2007 we were determined to make this years festival bigger and better than 2006. The stage was moved from infront of the Carrowbeg river to in the Carrowbeg river. The line-up included Smoke (their only irish gig that year), Mike Denver, Ultimate Abba and Keith and the show band show. The fireworks show at the end of the festival was nothing short of spectacular. |

'Rock an Reels' at the Westport Music Festival 2008. Opening night was Aug 6th - Aug 10th 2008. Attendance this year broke the 100,000 mark. 2008 line-up was Sharon Shannon, Mundy, Dessie O'Hallaran, Robert Mizzell, Ray Lydan, Philomena Begly, Whitewater, The Walls and Ragus. The street fairs and daily activities have grown bigger and better, with Heritage day being a roaring success. |
